What to do about Golfer's Elbow

What to do about Golfer's Elbow

What is Golfer's Elbow?

Golfer's Elbow is actually called Medial Epicondylitis. It is a tendonitis on the inside of the elbow. This is often caused from overuse and improper movement along the elbow.

What therapies can help my elbow pain?

Reducing the overuse for a while., for example lay off the golf for at least six weeks, is key. Second applying ice for 20 minutes daily. Third you want to work out any trigger points in the muscle of the forearm and triceps.

How can chiropractic help?

First a chiropractor can adjust the bones in the elbow allowing for proper movement across the joint. This reduces the wear and tear on the tendon each time you use it. Second we offer ultrasound therapy which target deep inside the tendon to speed up the healing time. Third we use electrical muscle stimulation to relax the muscles which takes tension off the tendons and allows them to function better and heal better.
